Let’s get started.

When your child is struggling with an eating disorder, picky eating, or weight challenges, it can be difficult to know how to help. It’s hard to watch our kids struggle and sometimes- harder to challenge them with treatment. With my clients, I take a whole family approach, including caregivers to help you help your little ones, making you feel empowered to continue treatment outside of sessions, and creating a support system for your child to get healthier.

My Approach

Nutrition research is always improving. I stay up-to-date on the latest research to provide the most effective treatment for eating disorders, picky eating, and childhood weight challenges.

Eating Disorders

  • Anorexia Nervosa - for children aged 10-18, I take a family based approach. Read more here

  • ARFID - Exposure work & identifying potential nutrient deficiencies

  • Binge Eating Disorder

*Note - any clients with an active eating disorder must also be working with a licensed psychologist, mental health counselor, or clinical social worker for most ethical treatment.

Picky Eating

Exposure, Exposure, EXPOSURE!

Fun fact - It takes about 12 exposures to the same food to know whether or not a child actually likes or dislikes it. We work on introducing or reintroducing foods to kiddos slowly and without forcing them to eat them. We create safe spaces to explore foods!

Weight Challenges

Children may experience challenges gaining weight or maintaining a healthy weight through adolescence. I work with children dealing with both.

  • Childhood underweight - we work on incorporating nutrient dense foods, making age appropriate meal plans, and look for underlying issues that may be leading to weight challenges.

  • Childhood overweight & obesity - we work on encouraging activity and healthful eating to ensure all nutrients are being met. Children are not put on weight loss plans!
